• Bavaro is one of the most tranquil beach resorts in the Dominican Republic, ideal if you're seeking pampering and sheer relaxation. You'll find less nightlife here, but the bars and clubs of Santo Domingo, are just a short ride away.
• To enjoy urban culture as well as beach life, stay near La Romana - the third largest city in the Dominican Republic.
