Beaches:

Cancun is world famous for its miles of sun-drenched beaches. Choose spectacular waves at Punta Cancun or the calmer waters of the north facing beaches. Visit the popular and picturesque village area at Playa del Carmen or the secluded beach at Playa Mujeres.

Watersports:

Playa del Carmen offers a particularly good range of watersports but all of Cancun is brimming with opportunities to windsurf, jet ski, learn to scuba dive, snorkel over the Great Mesoamerican Reef or charter a yacht and go sport fishing.

History and culture:

Find ancient ruins and lively folklore in Downtown Cancun, discover Mayan temples in the Riviera Maya, marvel at the ancient sites at Tulum or visit the pyramids at Chichen Itza - one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

Adventure and ecological tours:

Go hiking or take a zip line tour in the Riviera Maya, drive an amphibious vehicle through rivers and along jungle paths or swim through underground caves known as 'cenotes'. Join a jungle expedition through the Mayan jungle, become a crocodile hunter for a day, swim with sharks, or snorkel over the Cancun Underwater
Museum.

Family fun:

Swim with dolphins, go horseback riding or have fun at the ecological Xcaret theme park. Kids will love the Wet' n Wild water park while parents can tee-off on incredible golf courses and relax in sumptuous spas.

Nightlife:

Cancun's legendary club scene is one of the best in the world, with most nightclubs found in or near the Cancun Hotel Zone. Join holidaymakers and locals alike at Dady'O's, Bulldog and The City, or take to the floor or tabletops, in the world famous Coco Bongo club. To party alfresco, head to Fat Tuesday, an open-air venue with beach area. Or, for a more authentic Mexican fiesta check out the clubs in Downtown Cancun (also known as 'El Pueblo' or 'El Centro' as the locals call it).
